The company said the “move comes as the Yoox store brand transforms as part of the newly formed group into a much simpler and more agile standalone business”.

Moving forward, Yoox will “simplify and streamline its business model in order to re-install growth and profitability into a proven business model. [It] will strengthen its unique brand position and customer value while benefiting from streamlining the back-of-house operations”.

As for the leadership team, Mirko Nobili has been appointed CEO and he supports the integration of Yoox into the group “while transitioning from his previous role as COO of Yoox Net-A-Porter into his new role”.

He joined YNAP in 2020 as global operations director. The company said “his strong knowledge of operations, customer needs and organisational change has been built through critical roles at a range of companies including Nestlé Italiana and Burberry, where he spent seven years in successive roles as VP of Global Supply Chain for Beauty and Transformation, respectively, before becoming VP of Global Customer Fulfilment at Burberry.

Marco Petrucci takes on the role of chief technology officer, being responsible for the tech stack of Yoox and The Outnet and data platform. He also continues to oversee the tech stack and data platform of Net-a-Porter and Mr Porter until their migration onto the new platform is completed. Most recently he held the position of chief technology & product officer of YNAP having worked his way up since he joined Yoox in 2009 as senior developer.
